Snow is still thick on the ground. Temperatures touching -18°C. The cars are hibernating in their garages, being rejuvenated for another season of full throttle bashing.
It was a sad, sad day with mixed emotions. On one side, I was a bit down by the thought of never going to see cars being driven on maybe my most favourite track here in Norway… Lots of good memories there. On the other side, I was excited. The new Track, would be nearly 3 times as long as the old one with some great sections of corners for drifting.
A few days ago I got my “new” Canon 7D. Around the same time I was chatting to a buddy of mine, when quickly the conversation turned to going out and doing something. Sideways. To my surprise, this is what he came sliding into my drive with; an electric car! Baffled at the sight of the less than 3 meter long ‘vehicle’, I got in and off we went.

This has been such an amazing year for me. My first year filming the sideways action and my most productive year ever. I’ve met some fantastic people, made a lot of new friends within the biz and most important of all, had some fun times doing it all.
