Driver Blog
Meet Mike Kauffman, French drifter and new driver blogger here on Drifted. Mike will be piloting an ex-Drifted staff car in the French Drift Challenge this year. But first, an introduction…..
Not many drivers posses the dedication to cross a body of water to compete in their favourite drift championships. We catch up with Portuguese driver Hugo Fernandes after his first British Drift Championship adventure of 2012. Hit the jump….
You all probably noticed that Drift AllStars had a big event down in Romania! The event took place right in front of worlds second largest building, Palace of Parliament – Bucharest! I was invited along to judge the event so here’s what I got up to behind the scenes!
Team Falken’s schedule got a bit hectic all of a sudden! Scotland, Silverstone, Ireland, and London all in a month! Catach up with them before they head to the BDC season finale this weekend
Fresh back from our Nürburgring demo at the N24 in front of thousands of die hard race fans, we were in high spirits and ready for the third round of the 2011 British Drift Championship. Due to hard use at the ‘Ring event all three cars needed some maintenance and repairs to be made prior to the event.
My name is Fredrik Oksnevad, nicknamed FredOX, and I’m a drifter! I want to introduce myself, tell you guys how I got involved in drifting and what the plans are in the future! I don’t think many of you know me as a person, other than I’m driving for, Team DriftMonkey!
We woke up on the Friday morning after enjoying the last ‘proper’ nights sleep we would get all weekend. However we woke up to the Nurburgring weather we had been told to expect! We were due to be out on the legendary main GP circuit later that evening in front of a packed grandstand of thousands of German race fans so rain was not the ideal ingredient!
As we mentioned in our last update we were kindly invited to join the European Falken drift team at the Nürburgring for the N24 weekend festivities. A weekend of racing and drifting in front of huge crowds on the most dangerous and notorious circuit in the world, we didn’t have to be asked twice!
A few weeks has passed since we were last out in action at the British Drift Championship Round 2 at Norfolk Arena and we’re busy making preparations for our coming road trip to the world famous Nurburgring Circuit in Germany, AKA ‘The Green Hell’.
Its been a hectic few weeks leading up to the start of the 2011 season, so much so we have barely had a chance to keep on top of keeping our fans informed in between building cars, breaking them, fixing them and winning trophies!
Round 6 of the D1NZ series has come way sooner then I thought it would. It feels like yesterday I flew into Christchurch for the first round of D1NZ. Check out what happened at the Finals….
D1NZ, the national drifting series in New Zealand and host some of the best drivers from around the globe. I have committed to this series for the 2010/2011 season and my car has been in Christchurch while Ive been over in Australia working. Every time a round comes up I fly over a few days earlier to prepare for the round. Round 4 of the D1NZ series was one round ill never forget.
Hey Drifted fans, I’m slightly late on the update for Round 2 of the D1NZ championship as Ive just been flat out back in Australia. But better to be late then never right?!
Gday all!!! Jake Jones (AKA DRIFTSQUID) here, some of you may know me but for those that don’t. I’m a Professional Drifter from Australia, 21 years of age and am currently competing in the D1NZ Rockstar drifting championship in New Zealand. I have been competing now for just over 3 years and am not looking at stopping anytime soon!
