PRODUCT: Lowly Gentlemen
A treat dropped through the door at Drifted HQ today in the form of two very cool looking bags with the catchy Lowly Gentlemen logos printed onto them.
What is Lowly Gentlemen I hear you ask? As the packaging suggests, they are purveyors of ‘quality automotive apparel and accessories’ and is the brain child of Stanceworks founders Ben Terry, Mike Burroughs and Andrew Ritter.
Lowly Gentlemen is a brand with a difference. They focus on the building of their products from the ground up, ensuring that every detail is a true representation of the quality that they produce.
All three of the gentlemen have their roots in the automotive world. Cars are what brought them together, and it is from the roots of this passion that they draw their inspiration.
In this day and age it takes a bold disposition to take the jump and make your own path and that’s exactly what Ben, Mike and Andrew have done. All three have made the move out to sunny California to make Lowly Gentlemen their living. We’ve worked closely with the guys before in our partnership with Stanceworks and if anyone has the drive and passion to make it work, it’s them.
Their Fall/Winter 2011 lines up oozes with cool designs. The designs lend themselves to being worn both at car meets and down the pub. It’s a tricky balance designing something to appeal to the automotive enthusiast and at the same not not scream out ‘I am a car geek’ to your average person on the street.
I particularily like the ‘LG Essentials’ tee, a clean minimalist design on the front with a solitary ‘LG’ breast logo and then a large back piece with an awesome racing helmet motif centre stage.
Perfect for whatever you’re getting into with your car at the weekend.
Alongside clothing Lowly Gentlemen also offer the coolest camera strap I’ve ever seen. I’m getting myself one of these.
Check out the detail. Each one hand made and lovingly finished.
Lowly Gentlemen is certainly one brand I’ll be following. I can’t wait to see what they have in store for their next season lineup.
Check out their website at www.lowlygentlemen.com and hit them up on Facebook.
