EVENT: Formula D Wall, NJ 2013 – Main Competition
The 2013 Formula Drift season has been full of controversy and questionable calls. Road Atlanta was more like a demolition derby, and Palm Beach saw the first legal overtakes in years. Would the fourth round of competition from Wall, NJ continue this trend, or would the sport return to its pure essence of inch-close tandem sliding? Sunny skies and a hungry field of veterans in the top 32 were the recipe for the main course. Read on after the jump to see how it all went down.

EVENT: Practice and Qualifying from Formula D Wall, NJ 2013
For the fourth stop on the 2013 Formula Drift calendar, the series headed to Wall Stadium in New Jersey. This race traditionally finishes the East Coast run of the season before the competition shifts back West for the second half. Unlike past years, the track map had been changed by the organizers to more of a snail's shell layout, vs. the figure eight that was done previously. Read on to find out how practice and qualifying went down on Friday with this new route.

FEATURE: Go Hard
You've poured blood, sweat, and tears into your car, spent countless hours preparing it for competition – that's without mentioning the money. Why? To go out there and give it absolute hell. The 2013 Maxxis British Drift Championship opening round saw some balls-to-the-wall driving from all involved. Their war cry? Go hard or go home…

EVENTS: Spring Matsuri, Anneau du Rhin
It's almost a tradition that the season for most of the southwest drifters starts in Anneau. In 2013, Speed Industries hosted their first event in the first week of March. In a time where more and more drift events are getting closed or banned, Anneau du Rhin is one of the last castles that remain. Due to this fact, the cars showing up at Anneau keep getting better and better; many European pro drifters have trained here.

EVENT: KD European Drift Lousada 2012 Part II
After attending the annual Lousada drift event for the past few years you think I'd be prepared for the mental and physical onslaught that is shooting it. Don't get me wrong, I love drifting but after 18 hours solid of it, followed by four to five hours sleep I was less than 'chipper' when the alarm sounded for day two of the event. Come 9:00am I was back at the track, batteries full, memory cards empty, enthusiasm slightly less than brimming....but at least I had coffee.

VIDEO: GIR – Gutten i Røyken Ep.1
The first of many episodes to come, where we follow Kenneth Groth through his drifting experiences. He drives the AutoMester S13, 450bhp SR20 and is a madman behind the wheel. This episode consists of the mad-dash to rebuild a new car after a crash, in less than two weeks before the main event of the season, Gatebil Rudskogen, in July.

EVENT: Prodrift: Japfest: The End of an Era
This may be possibly the last ever Prodrift event as we know it, next year the Irish series is to be branded as the Irish Drift Championship as we can only assume the Prodrift brand may be taking a new step in broadening it's status abroad, for that I'm not sure, either way a part of me felt compelled to to give the icon that is Prodrift the send off it deserves…

EVENT: Crazy Karpacz Touge, Poland
or those who don’t know, Touge is the Japanese word for a winding mountain road. That is where the drifting started. It is currently the fastest growing motorsport and certainly every fan of drifting would love to see a competition on winding mountain roads. Surely this is the same thing that inspired organizers of the Polish Drifting Championship (DMP) last year, who decided to do a round in Karpacz, the small town located in the Polish mountains…

VIDEO: Rubbin’s Racing?
A quick video we thought we'd share of Falken's Matt Carter letting Team Japspeed's Shane O'Sullivan know where the line is between rubbin' and crashin'. Got to admire taking the time to wind down the window mid drift to express his feelings!

Wall Speedway's main competition was an all-out brawl. Round Four was the halfway mark of the season, and Justin Pawlak came into the event with a comfortable lead in the 2011 Formula Drift standings. Could anyone chase him down and close the gap? Follow the jump to find out!
