BeamNG.drive Is More Fun Than Ever After The v0.37 Update
Table of Contents
It might come as a surprise to many of you, but BeamNG.drive is slowly becoming one of our favorite drifting games when we want a break from Assetto Corsa (yes, really!). Now, the latest v0.37 update makes the sideways action more fun than ever before.

We’re not alone with our appreciation for what it offers either. GTA aside, BeamNG has consistently topped the charts as the most-played drifting game on Steam for quite some time now.
What started as a dedicated crash simulator has been gradually increasing its appreciation for sideways action, and we’re fully embracing it.
In the past year alone, almost every new update has brought more sideways-specific content. We’ve seen drift tracks (complete with zones and scoring) alongside dedicated drifting cars, aftermarket mods, and much more.
The latest update now brings an exciting new addition to the car roster. While it might not be a typical drifter, it might just be your favorite yet.
You now get to drift a gigantic limo
It won’t come as much of a surprise that this is my favorite part of the update!

The Gavril Grand Marshal Limousine is a huge stretch limo that’s every bit as ridiculously fun to drift as it looks.

Its long wheelbase offers a unique challenge for those looking to take their drifting skills to the next level, just be prepared for the sheer size and weight shifting that comes with it. There’s certainly a learning curve to getting it perfect, but that’s half the fun.
Once you nail it, you’ll see why I’m having an absolute blast with this thing. Make sure you head to some tight and twisty sections to take the challenge up a notch.
If you want to go completely mental with its tuning and upgrade potential, it’s capable of pushing out 4,000 horsepower – just about enough to spin up the rear tires!
I’ll let AR12 Gaming show you its sideways and drag racing potential:
If you’re having one of those days, you can vent your frustration by heading into the back of the limo to smash the posh glasses and the old-school TV.
There’s much more, including a trampoline!
Alongside the limo, the update also brings a massive selection of new and updated props. If you fancy messing around, the new trampoline is absolutely hilarious.

Additionally, they’ve introduced spike strips, available in four different types.

These are another welcome addition for those looking to cause maximum mayhem.

Another newcomer is the pressure ball, which is… definitely different and wonderfully weird.
There are so many prop changes to cover that you’re best off watching this video, which showcases them in all their chaotic glory:
In addition to these new features, racing fans have been enjoying the addition of brake glow under heavy braking. Unfortunately, we’re rarely on the brakes long enough to appreciate that aspect (for obvious reasons).
For the hardcore BeamNG fans looking for an in-depth insight into all the changes in v0.37, you’ll want to check this video out or read the official release notes. Be warned, since there’s so much awesome stuff to cover, it’s nearly 20 minutes long.
