UK’s Castle Combe Circuit hosted its Autumn Action Day on September 6, 2025, but what should have been a celebration of motorsport turned into every drifter’s worst nightmare for celebrity drifter, Becky Evans.

The aftermath of the incident. While Becky’s S15 doesn’t look too bad here, there’s plenty of hidden chassis damage.

Evans, known as ‘Queen B’, the presenter of Europe’s ‘Drift Masters’ series, and girlfriend of five-time Formula DRIFT champion James Deane, suffered a devastating crash in a situation that even Deane himself probably wouldn’t have been able to navigate out of.

During the drift demos, a green Nissan Silvia 180SX S13 spun out in front of Becky as she entered Castle Combe’s high-speed corner in her SR22-powered Nissan Silvia S15. By the time she’d seen the car, it was too late to react.

Both cars look a sorry sight following the incident.

As you can see from the video, Becky wasn’t the only victim that the high-speed entry claimed at the event either.

A moment of reflection – the S15 means a huge amount to Becky, and this meant much more to her than just a simple drift crash.

Becky Evans explained the situation on her Instagram account:

“Absolutely not the post I wanted to write. I had a big accident at the weekend at Castle Combe and I’m pretty sure the S15 chassis is toast. All 4 people involved are okay, sore bodies but thankfully nothing broken, just a bit shook.”

Responding to the usual internet trolls, she explained, “[…] I had been driving that corner all day and I would never have put myself or anyone else in danger by driving recklessly. […]

“The cars were sent one by one, not pairs. The corner was clear as I initiated into it. I was mid drift as I suddenly realised there was a smoke screen approaching. […] Then like an apparition a stationary car appeared in the middle of it, my worst f—ing nightmare [expletive edited].

“I grabbed the handbrake as hard as I could to try and stop but there was nothing I could do. From seeing it to impact was maybe 1–2 seconds. […] It’s my first big accident on a drift track and unfortunately it was my worst fear come true.

With the S15 lifted onto the recovery truck, the extent of the damage starts to become clearer.

Sadly, Becky’s S15 suffered extensive damage in the incident, and it’s unlikely to be repairable. She explains: “The sill is bent about a foot in, the tunnel is kinked, the roof is bent, the engine and box are detached from the bulkhead, there is paint from the chassis all over the gearbox bell housing. The roll cage did its job of absorbing the energy and spreading it through the car.

“[…] I’m sentimentally attached to that chassis as it’s been with me through a lot and such a huge part of my career. […] I’m gutted, genuinely gutted.

“We will come back soon with a plan but now I will rest my body as it feels like it’s been run over by an 18-wheeler.”

Instagram will load in the frontend.

Both cars had passengers in the vehicles at the time of the incident, but thankfully, all four people involved were okay, despite having understandably sore bodies.

Another angle of the incident shows how unavoidable the situation was:

Things certainly didn’t look any better for the S13 involved in the incident, either, which is likely to be even worse off than Becky’s S15.

A sad day for both drivers and a stark reminder of how easily such incidents can occur at the track.

After getting checked over by paramedics, Becky is consoled by friends.

Thankfully, proper safety gear prevented a much worse outcome.
