CarX Street Drops New ‘Gymkhana’ Update Bringing A Bundle Of New Features
Table of Contents
CarX Street just released a huge update, version 1.13, available for download now on the App Store and Google Play for mobile players. Console and PC versions are expected to follow.

The biggest addition is the new ‘Gymkhana’ mode, which challenges players to “complete obstacle courses at maximum speed and in as little time as possible.”
As you’ll soon see in the trailer, both the Gymkhana mode and the ‘Hoonicorn’ Mustang replica, inspired by the late legend Ken Block, look like epic additions to the game.

Don’t worry, there’s still plenty of smoky sideways action, paired with huge jumps!
There’s plenty of new content to enjoy
While players get seven single races in the new Gymkhana mode, they also get new leaderboard races to compete in.

The update also brings three new cars to the garage. Despite the lack of licensing, you’ll easily recognize each of them:

- VPR (Dodge Viper replica)

- M34 (BMW 5 Series E34 replica)

- HNG (Ken Block ‘Hoonicorn’ Mustang replica)
New features include a cinematic camera for improved recording and two new clubs to join: Spitfire and Hyper Sonic.
Additional content includes:
- 3 new currency packs
- New special offers: Psycho Blossom, Midnight Fury, Trouble Maker
- 58 new Turbofan rim designs
Further in-game improvements

Along with the new features, the team also added several requested features:
- Direct tech support contact from within the game
- A car filtering system to find vehicles more easily
- A “Favorite cars” function to bookmark your preferred rides
- Fixed collision issues in the open world
- Improved global map icon display
- General UI optimization with bug fixes and stability improvements
- Rewards for following their social media accounts
Console players will need to wait a bit longer for these features, but mobile users can download the update now from their respective app stores.

It’s the same story for PC gamers, but if you’ve not bought the game already, it could be the perfect time to do so. Currently, it’s available with a huge 55% discount on Steam, running until October 6, making it $8.99 for the standard edition, or $9.36 for ‘Deluxe’.

PC players may also consider holding out for the soon-to-be-released CarX Drift Racing Online 2, which is shaping up to be their best game yet.
