Drift Masters final in Poland ended heartbreakingly for local hero Piotr Wiecek
The 2025 Drift Masters final in Poland ended heartbreakingly for local hero Piotr Wiecek. The 2021 and 2022 champion managed to qualify second in the PGE Narodowy stadium, Warsaw, and was equal on points with Conor Shanahan.

Conor scored 95,3 in the qualification and was tenth. This meant that two championship contenders could fight each other in the Top 8, and the winner of that battle would take the crown.
Qualification results led to Piotr’s battle with Norwegian Espen Rodhe (BMW E46 coupe).

Sadly, during his Top 32 lead run, the Toyota Supra shut down, and all hopes for the first title collapsed.
It’s hard to tell what has caused the problem, oil pressure was there, electricity was there… But the car doesn’t wnat to start…

Sources told us that the breakdown could be related to the engine computer management (ECU) model.
Let’s hear more information about the event in Poland from Piotr!
Conor Shanahan won the event and scored 490 points in seven rounds. Piotr Wiecek secured second place with 406, and Jack Shanahan was third (351).
The schedule of the 2026 Drift Masters championship should be announced this December.
