Epic Racing – Descent On Cars summary
If you’re looking for a chilled racing game, this might not be for you. However, if you’re looking for the craziest racing experience imaginable, you’ve come to the right place!
Epic Racing delivers pure carnage and adrenaline from the second you click play as you race ruthless rivals to the finish line through locations like ski resorts, cactus-filled deserts, and airports packed with huge planes.
Along the way, expect to fly off gigantic ramps and massive jumps, along with insane and unpredictable elevation changes that’ll test your driving skills and your nerve, all while your opponents do everything in their might to stop you from getting to the finish line first.
A bonus is that the game features realistic damage physics that are rarely seen in browser games, and trust me, there’s no shortage of panel-peeling destruction along the way.

How to play Epic Racing – Descent On Cars
Initial setup
As soon as you open the game, you’ll be thrown into the action. Don’t panic, the controls (above, or on-screen) are simple.
Once the race is over, you’ll receive your first earnings, and if you managed to win, you get to progress to the next level.
Epic Racing doesn’t require any settings adjustments, but if you want to play quietly, you can click the cog wheel in the top-right corner of the main menu to adjust the sound. Click the speaker to mute it entirely.
Getting started
Now that you’ve survived your first race, you can explore the in-game menus where you’ll find various upgrades and tuning options. We’ll dive into those in the following sections.
In this game, you need to focus on racing your way to the finish through the absolute chaos that unfolds along the way. Your opponents will try to stop you from winning by any means necessary, so expect to get rammed, blocked, and pushed off the track regularly.
Smashing into objects is where the real fun begins. Typically, the bigger the obstacle, the higher the reward, so you’ll want to aim for the most destructive path possible while still trying to cross the finish line first so you can advance to the next stage.
While money is great for car upgrades, you’ll only unlock further levels and new rides by actually winning races, so finding the right balance is key.
Levels & tracks
Unlike most games, which let you select a level, things are done a little differently in Epic Racing:
Stages & Tournaments
You start at Stage 1 of 7. Stage 1 has three Tournaments to complete before you get to unlock Stage 2.
After that, Stages 2 through 7 feature six tournaments within each, giving you loads of racing action to work through as you progress.
Bonus levels
Occasionally, you’ll unlock a bonus level where all your rivals will be driving the same car.
These can be 4×4 monster trucks with unpredictable handling, or the fastest American muscle cars that’ll shock you with their speed compared to the entry-level rides you’ll be used to.
You get to drive them for a one-off bonus race with big rewards up for grabs, so make the most of it and try to walk away with as much cash as possible. You’ll get to unlock them properly later, of course. Here’s how:
Car selection and how to unlock them
You’re given a free Ford Fiesta-style car to start with, which can keep up with some of the better cars, especially with a few upgrades under the hood. You can also scroll through the other cars in the showroom to see what else is available.
There are 8 cars in total (7 you’ll need to unlock), ranging from SUVs to Hummers, buggies, supercars, JDM-style lookalikes, and American muscle.
The blue bar below each car shows you the current Blueprint level, and you need to earn vehicle blueprints to unlock new cars. You can also double your earnings by watching an ad, which speeds up the process considerably.
If you’ve got your eyes set on unlocking a certain car, if you look at the various Stages, you’ll see which Tournaments you need to complete to earn the Blueprints. For example, if you’re hoping to unlock the Lambo-style car, you’ll need to get through Stage 4, Tournament 6.
While the first vehicle requires 100 blueprints to unlock (which you’ll earn during the first Stage), the most impressive American muscle car on offer requires 800, so you’ll need to put in some serious work to get your hands on it.
Tuning and performance upgrades
Once you max out your upgrades, you’ll unlock a new level with even more potential to push your car even further.
Be warned, though. The money you spend upgrading a specific car’s performance won’t be usable when you unlock future vehicles, so spend it wisely.
If you’ve almost got enough Blueprints to unlock the next car and you’re still winning races comfortably, consider whether you want to upgrade your current ride further. Instead, you could save the money for the new car, which will be totally stock when you get it, and desperately needs those upgrades.
Car customizations
Alongside the performance upgrades, you can also choose from a variety of accessory customizations to make your ride stand out.
The good news is that, unlike performance upgrades, once these are unlocked, you can use them on any car in your garage. You only need to unlock them once, making them a solid investment.
Wheels
Epic Racing offers 10 sets of wheels, ranging from basic steels to fancy alloys that’ll make your car look the part. You can fit these by purchasing with the displayed price or by watching ads to unlock them immediately.
Extras
Choose from a huge drag racing-style hood scoop to an intimidating skull with antlers to mount on the hood of your car and freak out your opponents before you even ram them off the track.
Lights
Options range from a hilarious, funky donut to Police lights to make your rivals fear they’re about to get busted, adding that extra psychological edge.
Garage
Although this is alongside the customization options, this section shows all the currently unlocked cars in your garage, letting you quickly switch between them whenever you want to try a different ride.

Epic Racing – Descent On Cars advanced tips
Decide your focus for each level
Do you want to get to the end first in a quest to unlock new vehicles, or go on a smashing spree to earn the most cash? It’s hard to do both effectively, so commit to your primary goal from the start of each race and adjust your driving style accordingly.
If you’re struggling to keep up, it might be wise to prioritize racking up the cash for upgrades for the time being.
Take advantage of all the boosters
There are many different boosters scattered throughout each track. Grab all the ones you can, as they’ll give you a significant advantage over your rivals if they miss them.
Don’t worry if other drivers collect the nitro boosters ahead of you. These are unlimited, so even if the driver in front grabs one, it’s still available for you too when you drive through them.
Skip the objects if others get there first
Remember, if you’re on a cash-building spree, you’ll want to smash the biggest objects, like the Christmas trees with the most presents, as these offer the biggest payouts.
However, unlike the boosters, if one of your rival competitors smashes the tree first, they’ll collect the cash before you. So, try not to follow their path too closely if money is your main focus, and find your own destructive route.
Don’t panic if you crash
Unlike more unforgiving games, it’s not game over if you have a big crash in Epic Racing. Sure, you’re at a minor disadvantage, but there’s likely still a long way to go before the finish line.
Your rivals will usually be doing their best to destroy each other along the way, providing you the perfect opportunity to sneak your way into pole position while they’re busy fighting for second place.
Similar games we recommend
Once you’ve mastered Epic Racing, put your newfound racing skills to the ultimate test in Polytrack, or try NSR Street Car Racing if you’re after a more laid-back arcade-style driving game.
Alternatively, consider giving Madalin Stunt Cars 3 a try if you enjoyed the huge crashes and stunts that Epic Racing throws at you. The best part is that Madalin has a free online multiplayer mode, so you can team up or compete with your friends and see who really has the skills to back up the talk.
