TL;DR

  • Three additions: Stafford Motor Speedway (CT), Indianapolis Raceway Park (IN), The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (NV).
  • Eight PRO rounds. Four PROSPEC.
  • Englishtown (E-Town) is now off the calendar. Northeast stop moves to Stafford.
  • Long Beach Shoreline Showdown returns as the PRO finale on Oct 23-24.
  • PROSPEC Final to be held at The Bullring (Las Vegas) on Sep 24-26.

New venues and key changes for 2026

Dates: June 18-20
Series: PRO & PROSPEC

Located near Boston, Stafford becomes the new Northeast location for both championships. Due to Englishtown Raceway’s ongoing acquisition process, Formula DRIFT couldn’t secure a 2026 date and moved the Northeast round to Stafford Motor Speedway.

We flagged this risk earlier in the year in our coverage of Englishtown’s uncertain future.

“As everybody knows, the arena at Englishtown Raceway was built for Formula DRIFT and it was always our intention to remain at the track. However, the facility is going through an acquisition process and we were unable to secure a commitment to our 2026 event date,” Ryan Sage, FD’s President (and co-founder) explains. “We made the decision with sadness and not fully aware of the fate of Englishtown Raceway.”

Dates: July 30-August 1
Series: PRO & PROSPEC

The series heads to the heart of American motorsports with a significant move to Indianapolis. The venue features an NHRA drag strip, a short oval, and a road course that is no longer in use.

The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (Round 7)

Dates: September 24-26
Series: PRO & PROSPEC (PROSPEC Final)

The series returns to Las Vegas under a three-year contract, moving from the 2009-2012 parking-lot course to The Bullring. The location will become more drift-friendly “by adding pavement and updating infrastructure.”

Ryan Sage says FD is “excited to return” to Vegas; it’s “always been on our radar but up until now, there have been challenges in making our return.”

“We’re coming back under very different circumstances than before, and will invest in the infrastructure to ensure teams and fans can fully experience an FD event as it should be.”
