Time to forget about the potential upcoming Forza Horizon 6 release for a moment. Garfield’s coming through first, and watch out – his lasagna might fly out while he’s sitting sideways!

Garfield has been working with the team behind Test Drive Unlimited 1 and 2 on the latest game.

Eden Games, the team behind the much-loved early Test Drive Unlimited games and the upcoming Gear.Club Unlimited 3 has just released Garfield Kart 2 – All You Can Drift (not to be confused with the actual second game in the series, Garfield Kart: Furious Racing).

Available now on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam (PC), here’s the launch official trailer:

Eight different characters join the mayhem: Garfield, Odie, Jon Arbuckle, Arlene, Nermal, Squeak, Dr. Liz Wilson, and Big Vicious Dog.

You can customize all the karts with a selection of colors and upgraded tuning parts, including bumpers, wheels, and wings.

Play as Garfield or his friends online or in the local four-player split-screen mode.

Race on tracks from the Garfield comic strip universe with up to eight players online, or in a (rarely-seen-these-days) four-player local co-op mode, which is perfect for battling it out with friends or family at home.

Assetto Corsa probably won’t need to worry about being toppled from the ‘best drifting game’ throne just yet. Still, it’s always great to see more kid-friendly, mainstream drifting games getting the future generation enjoying sideways action early on.
