Everyone’s talking about the new Long Beach ‘Shoreline Showdown’ street layout addition to the 2025 Formula DRIFT calendar, and now you’ve got the chance to start laying down your best lines before the pros get to experience it for real.

When FD recently teased the Sim HQ-created ‘Long Beach 2’ track on their socials, fans were desperate to know how to download it. Despite being on Sim HQ’s site, the track carried a crazy $9,999 price tag. Hopefully none of you were that keen!

Now, the track is available to the public on the Sim HQ site for a much more reasonable price of $6.99.

They put serious effort into the project, working directly with Formula DRIFT, Geronimo Designs, and ACS Drift to design the layout from scratch.

The end result is the closest you’ll get to the real thing. It’s specifically optimized for Assetto Corsa and accurately captures the flow and scale of the real ‘Long Beach 2’ street circuit.

In case you missed the initial sneak peek, here’s the official FD preview of the track and layout:

The second Long Beach round on the calendar replaces Irwindale Speedway for the first time in Formula DRIFT’s 22-year history after its forced closure last year, bringing a new era for the series’ finale.

With just two weeks to go before the October 17-18 showdown at Long Beach, CA, we expect it won’t just be the fans who’ll be downloading the track. We expect FD drivers to be firing up their sim rigs and clocking plenty of practice time to get ahead.

Though five-time FD champ James Deane has already wrapped up the 2025 title, the fight for the remaining podium spots promises to be intense. Matt Field, Adam LZ, Fredric Aasbo, and Hiroya all remain in contention for a shot at a top-three finish.
