LIVESTREAM: Formula Drift 2012: Round Six: Afterdark
The Las Vegas Motor Speedway plays host to Formula DRIFT. The "Diamond in the Desert" is just outside the Vegas Strip and has hosted events such as NASCAR, IndyCar, NHRA and more recently Formula DRIFT. The custom built course is one of the fastest, if not the fastest, drifting circuits in the world. With a very high-speed triple entry, drivers are pushed to put their fears behind them and risk it all when entering the first turn. -

Formula Drift Las Vegas is known amongst the drift media as one of the trickiest events to shoot, photography-wise. Ridiculous desert heat combined with an all-night event, bright headlamps and no high vantage points to shoot from make it a real task. The conditions test both photographer and camera. So what better idea than to go all hipster and shoot it on film?
