City Classic Car Driving: 131
Table of Contents
Looking to get your drift on without needing to download anything? City Classic Car Driving: 131 delivers serious fun right in your browser, packing insanely good damage physics (for a free online game) that are among the best you’ll find.

There’s also enough in-game missions, earning potential, and tuning and customization to keep you hooked for hours.

You’ll need to drift and race your way through the city traffic and earn cash for completing in-game mini missions while smashing into street lights, billboards, fire hydrants, and other destructible obstacles to earn additional side cash to upgrade your classic drift car.
But mess around too much, and you’ll soon get caught.
The cops are constantly guarding the city, and if you cause too much damage, they’ll soon be hot on your tail. Once that happens, things escalate quickly, and they’ll call for backup.

Before you know it, the whole precinct has one objective – to destroy your ride!

Getting Started
When you first open City Classic Car Driving: 131, you’ll receive $2,500 as a welcome bonus. You can put this towards mods right away or stash it in the bank for better upgrades later.
You only get one classic car choice that initially looks a little disappointing, but with the right tuning and upgrades, it transforms into a street drifting (and racing) weapon.
First things first – head to the ‘Settings’ cog wheel icon in the top left. Here, you can choose from various Gameplay and Quality settings.
For ‘Quality’, if you’re on a decent computer, we recommend changing the quality to ‘High’ to make the most of what the game offers. If you’re on a lower-spec PC, consider lowering this until the game runs smoothly.
For ‘Gameplay Settings’, you can toggle ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), ESP (Electronic Stability Program), and TCS (Traction Control System). As drifters, we (of course) prefer leaving all of these off. The only one we’d consider is ABS, as the other two drastically restrict your car’s drifting potential.
Once you head into the game, simply free roam through the streets and learn how the car’s weight transfer works. Use the e-brake (space) to drift around corners and get a feel for the physics.

You can begin causing some destruction before converting your earnings to cash using the ‘Cashout’ marker if you wish.
Game Modes
Once you’ve mastered the car’s handling and gotten a feel for the city, choose whether you want to start earning cash through destruction or tackle the in-game missions.
Each of the markers is labeled, and you can start them by heading to the various illuminated ‘Mission markers’ scattered around the city.
Trailblazer
Hit as many cones scattered around the city as possible within the time limit. Each cone you hit adds more time to the clock. If the countdown reaches zero before you’ve collected all cones, you fail the objective.

Drift
Show off your drifting skills as you try to earn as many drift points as possible within the allocated time limit.
Survival
Your felony level gets cranked up to 100, and cops will do everything in their power to destroy your classic car. Survive what feels like forever as the countdown timer decreases while they endlessly ram you and set up roadblocks.

Race
A straightforward street race, but be careful not to hit too many cars. Your damage will increase, and if cops spot you, you’ll have to deal with them too! You might wanna turn up to the start line a little more prepared than I was. Oops.
Pursuit
One simple objective – outrun the cops!
Tuning & Upgrades
Heading to the ‘MODIFICATION’ section on the game’s main menu offers a huge selection of upgrades to choose from:
- Front/Rear Bumpers – Reinforced metal upgrades cause less damage to your car and more damage to everything else!

- Engine Horsepower Upgrades – Three tiers available: +25 HP, +50 HP, and +100 HP.

- Suspension – Sport Springs, Coilovers, or Air suspension (adjustable with O/P keys.)
- Exhausts – Various single and twin-tip exhaust upgrades.

- NOS – Nitrous oxide for Fast & Furious-style boost!
- Aftermarket Wheels – A selection of much-improved alloys.

- Custom License Plate – Add your personalized plate.
- Roof Scoops – Because every drift car needs one.
- Side Skirts – Deep skirts for ultimate JDM drifting vibes!
- Window Tints/Colors – Various styles to choose from.
- Underglow/Neon Lighting – Multiple color options available.
- Headlights – Halogen or Bi-Xenon bulb upgrades.
- Body Paint – Choose from a full color palette to find the perfect shade for your classic ride.
- Sirens – Replicate the cops (but make sure you don’t try this in real life!). Toggle on/off with the T key once fitted.
Once you’ve selected your desired mods, you’ll see the total price. If you’re like us, this will show you’ve got some serious saving (and destroying) to do!
If you can’t afford everything you’ve added, you can choose to remove items individually to fit your budget, or completely clear the cart to start earning cash to pay for them.
Once you’ve built your dream classic drift car, use the ‘TAKE A PIC’ feature in the main menu to show it off to your friends on social media.

Time to hit the streets and show this city (and the cops) what real drifting looks like, even if they’ll have other ideas in mind!
