Just as the rumor mill gets hotter than ever with speculation that a Forza Horizon 6 announcement is coming in just a few days, it’s now reaching its boiling point. A Reddit user discovered that Microsoft has a full hour time slot at the 2025 Tokyo Game Show (TGS) for what could be the unveiling of a new Xbox game.

u/ajbjc on the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, which has often proven to be a reliable source for the latest updates, noticed something that stood out on the TGS schedule and timings on Gematsu.

Under ‘Famitsu / Dengeki Online’, there’s an hour-long slot at 19:00 (Japan Standard Time) that states ‘Xbox Title (Microsoft Gaming)’. This is 06:00 AM ET, 03:00 AM PT, and 11:00 AM in the UK on Thursday, Sep 27, so you’ll need to set your alarm early if you want to catch the live broadcast.

Many expected the initial Horizon 6 reveal to be part of Microsoft’s TGS broadcast on September 25, and this slot could be a longer opportunity for the full unveiling.

An hour is a long time at these shows, so they clearly have something they’re eager to showcase properly, and it’s more likely than ever that this will be Forza Horizon 6.

Given that the show is in Japan, everything lines up perfectly for them to also reveal the drifting motherland as the location.

Typically, there would be plenty of other games getting thrown into the mix as likely alternatives. However, this time around, even Xbox enthusiasts who aren’t big fans of racing games aren’t coming up with any more likely suggestions.

In fact, the most upvoted comment in the subreddit is “Obviously Forza Horizon 6”, with another user stating, “I’d bet on it being Forza Horizon 6.”

Other responses included Fable, the ‘Threads of Time’ RPG, and jokes about just about every ‘Remaster’ imaginable.

None of these options aligns as well as FH6, especially considering that we’ve had confirmation from Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer that “the next Forza” is coming in 2026. Unveiling in 2025 ahead of a 2026 release makes the most sense, and this is the perfect opportunity.
