Drift Club 3D summary
Drift Club 3D is a simple but super fun browser drifting game that’s perfect for beginners just getting into drifting, or if you’ve got limited time but also have an urge to slay some tires. (We totally get it!)
You have two simple goals on each level – earn the required points and do so within the allocated time.
The bumpy, dark highway features huge elevation changes and surprise corners that’ll keep you on your toes as you link crazy high-speed drifts and throw down side-to-side manji techniques on the straights.
Once you’ve earned some cash, you can put your earnings towards a selection of cars and upgrades, then jump back in to tackle the next level. It’s straightforward, addictive, and scratches the drifting itch without demanding hours of your time.

How to play Drift Club 3D
Initial setup
When you first open the game, you’ll land on the main menu. If you need to play quietly, click ‘Music’ to mute the audio. Otherwise, click PLAY.
Right away, you’re gifted 20,000 CR and two free cars (the first two on the list). If you’re curious, you can look at the various tuning and customization options (which we’ll dive into properly shortly), or you can choose your favorite (free) ride and click PLAY again to head straight into the action.
Getting started
You’re immediately thrown onto the nighttime highway, where you’ll notice the following options on the HUD display:
- Record – Your current best score
- X1 (Combo) – The max combo you can get is X5, and you’ll need to build this up by linking drifts
- Total – Your current score
- Level – The level you’re currently on
- Min. DRIFT – The score requirement to advance to the next level
- Timer – A countdown clock showing how many seconds you have to get to the finish line
- Distance (middle grey marker) – Shows how far into the level/how close to the finish you are
The most important goals are to get to the finish line within the allocated time while achieving the number of points shown in the ‘Min. DRIFT’ display to complete the level and progress to the next stage.
You’ll earn the most points by maximizing the entire width of the highway and using advanced drifting techniques such as the manji (drifting on a straight road), as well as stacking combos. If you’re feeling super brave, you can also get near-miss bonuses for getting as close as possible to the traffic traveling in both directions.
Don’t panic too much if you crash – you’ll only lose your current combo rather than all your points, but you’ll need to keep your eyes on the countdown timer and the course progress bar. If you’re running low on time, manage it sensibly. Otherwise, you’ll have to start over.
Assuming you manage to reach the finish line within the time limit with enough points, you’ll automatically advance to the next level. If you want to carry out any upgrades or purchase a new car, click the ‘HOME’ button between the levels.
Drift Club 3D game modes
There’s just one street drifting game mode in Drift Club 3D, which essentially combines drift and time attack modes. Earn as many points as possible and boost your earnings with combos and near misses while making sure you get to the finish as quickly as you can for an added time bonus at the end.
Each level gets progressively harder with more traffic, bigger point targets, more elevation, bumps to catch you off-guard, and unpredictable twists and turns.
Unfortunately, this game isn’t available on mobile devices, but you can check out our huge selection of mobile games for alternatives.
Drift Club 3D car selection
There’s a total of eight cars in Drift Club 3D, ranging from a rear-wheel drive MINI Cooper (converted, of course), along with some recognizable JDM, German, and American muscle cars thrown into the mix.
The most expensive and best car in the game is based on the Nissan GT-R, and you’ll need to get saving if you’ve got your eye on it, as it costs a whopping 240,000 credits!
Car customization and upgrades
Drift Club 3D offers only two customization options – wheels and paint.
This is nowhere near as many as you get with popular in-depth tuning games like Drift Hunters MAX and Drift King.
Unfortunately, there are no performance upgrades, and you can’t adjust the camber or stance to sort out the terrible fitment some of the rides have! Admittedly, some of them are nicely slammed and look great, though.
Drift Club 3D advanced tips & tricks
Use near-misses to your advantage
This one is super risky, as you’re likely to crash and lose your combo, but try to get as close as you can to the traffic without crashing into them to earn additional bonus points.
Try to get to 5X combo as quickly as you can
This is the maximum score multiplier you can get, so as long as you don’t crash (which is easier said than done), the money will start rolling in fast!
Don’t be afraid to throw your car into the corners
Pulling off high-speed, big-angle entries earns maximum points. Combined with a 5X combo, you’ll be laughing!
Lift off the throttle and use the brakes/handbrake to your advantage
Experiment with these, as they can help you get out of tricky situations. If you’ve got a massive angle going into the corner, you can lift off the throttle to increase grip.
Hitting the brakes lets you scrub off speed, and using the handbrake allows you to adjust your angle quickly. If you’re feeling super fancy, try playing around with combining the brake and handbrake for the ultimate show of skill!
