Forget Barn Finds, This ‘Bush Find’ Will Blow Your Mind
Table of Contents
We’ve all heard stories about the most unthinkable cars suddenly appearing after removing a load of old junk from a garage or barn, but we’ve never seen anything quite like this before.

u/DeathlyAvenged posted up in the r/240sx subreddit, stating “Just bought a house and found this guy hidden under a bush” along with the caption “Last registered in 2016. Key is in the ignition. Not a bad little extra to the home”.
It didn’t take long for fans to realize what they were looking at – a Nissan 240SX S13 buried deep in the weeds.
It’s not every day you find a Nissan Silvia hiding in a bush

Thankfully, the rest of Reddit stepped in to make up for the lack of enthusiasm with a mixture of comments, ranging from “If this is real, that’s wild. Good for you!” to amusing memes.

Over 8k likes and more than 300 comments later, and there’s still no follow-up from the original poster.

However, the new owner followed up shortly after with a second thread titled: “Update: It’s out of the bush AND runs. Also filled with brown interior parts!”
Again, the thread went nuts, and users had plenty of questions, one being whether the dash survived. The new owner confirmed that not only was it uncracked, but it was the rare brown 240SX dash.
The previous owners offered to scrap it
He confirms the previous owners knew the car was there, but had offered to remove and scrap it before the sale. Needless to say, knowing what he had, he “shut down that idea very quick”.

Despite (unfortunately) being an automatic, the hoard of spare parts included manual dash parts, so we hopefully already know where this build is heading.

It sounds like he’s got super lucky, declaring that it only “Needs some new plugs, tires, and brakes to get it on the road first”.
I’ve gotta be honest – I’d definitely be considering a few more fluid changes if I were lucky enough to find a free 240SX in a bush. Please, at the very least, do the oil, brake fluid, and coolant while you’re there – sorting out the house can wait!
