A huge leak from the genuine @forzahorizonofficial Instagram (yes, I double-checked it’s the real deal!) just confirmed everything fans have been hoping to see in Forza Horizon 6.

@forzahorizonofficial accidentally leaks the first Horizon 6 trailer ahead of the announcement.

The clip, just a few seconds long, shows license plates from past locations of the Forza Horizon series, followed by a transition to Mount Fuji.

In case that’s not enough confirmation for what’s coming, the caption reads, “The Horizon Festival is heading to Japan. Coming 2026. Wishlist now!”

The leak was first seen on the r/ForzaHorizon subreddit by u/RSadler96. He followed up with, “… this was an advert I was served on Instagram this morning. I confirmed it was from the official Forza Horizon account before posting this here. It seems a mistake has been made which let the advert out before it should be.”

We assumed it was going to be fake, and heading to their official channel initially confirmed that, as there’s currently no sign of the post.

However, it appears they’ve temporarily hidden the video ahead of a reveal. Less than two hours after being posted up, it now states “Sorry, this post has been removed by the moderators of r/ForzaHorizon.” along with “Post has been removed as per request.” from the mod team – that says all we need to know!

Despite the post being removed, the Instagram video remains online (for now) and has already amassed nearly 2,000 likes.

It seems someone on the Playground team might not have thought the promo through quite right ahead of a certain announcement we’re eagerly awaiting…

We’ll keep you up to date with all the latest details as they (officially) arrive.
