Rome Charpentier Heads To Greece For Upcoming European Competition
Table of Contents
Formula DRIFT’s Rome Charpentier is heading across the pond to compete in the Drift Kings Pro series at Greece’s Serres Racing Circuit from October 3-5.

Following several FD drivers who recently competed as wildcards in the Drift Masters Grand Prix (DMGP) stadium final, Rome has opted for a different route.
He’ll be taking on Round 5 of the Drift Kings Pro series alongside the Pro2/Queen final and the Drift Kings Nations Cup at the high-speed, fan-favorite Greek venue.
Details of the upcoming Drift Kings round
Rome will compete in Round 5 of the Pro Series in Greece, while the season finale will take place later in Cyprus.
Greece remains one of the highlights of the European drifting calendar, and the three-day event features one of the largest driver rosters ever – an impressive 65 drivers from 14 countries.

“To maximize track time for every driver and due to the paddock size at Serres, we’ve strictly capped entries at 65 drivers – and the grid is FULL!”
A livestream will be available for those who want to tune in online on YouTube, Facebook, and Rumble.

Can Rome shake up the competition?
The California-based ‘Garagistic’ driver has a unique motorsport journey behind him. After starting as a professional stunt rider at the age of 18, Rome made a late switch to drifting at 30.
His original BMW E36 took him all the way to the PRO tier of Formula DRIFT, having won the 2019 Pro2 ‘Rookie of the Year’.
For the 2024 PRO series, Rome switched things up, opting for the (rarely seen in drifting) 1-Series BMW E82, featuring an 850 WHP turbocharged BMW M50 engine under the hood.

You may recall his E82 from a recent incident, where five-time FD champ James Deane decided to, uhh… take a closer look at the build?
It’s not yet been confirmed what Rome will be driving in Greece, but we’re sure he’ll be looking to put on a show.
