Six New Features We’re Hyped For With The CarX Drift Racing 3 1.6.0 Update
Table of Contents
CarX Technologies just dropped another huge update to Drift Racing 3, and here’s what we can expect from (arguably) the hottest mobile drifting game right now.
1) Damage physics are now better than ever
One of the most appealing aspects of the game since day one has been its insane damage details, especially for a mobile game.
Now, these have just gotten another improvement. Your car and its components will be more susceptible to damage than before, and you can expect more mangled metal than ever when things don’t go according to plan.
These improvements have undoubtedly been assisted by the development of the upcoming CarX Drift Racing Online 2 release, which is due to arrive on Steam for PC gamers shortly.
2) Improved drift tuning and physics
The game’s physics and adjustments receive an update, introducing new features like assistant type selection and Ackermann adjustment.
As we all know, when it comes to physics tweaks, you’ll have to try them for yourself to see the difference. We’ve got a feeling you’re gonna like the changes!
3) A new online car (and parts) market
You can now buy and sell cars, as well as parts, on the in-game marketplace.
4) A familiar car joins the roster
The “BNM 36E” might have a typically amusing name, but it shouldn’t take too long to figure out that it’s Adam LZ’s Formula DRIFT weapon of choice – the legendary BMW E36.
5) Fresh paint and finish options for rims
You can now choose from a selection of wheel finishes, including the following options:
- Matte
- Solid
- Candy
- Chrome
- Pearl
6) Drift Pass Season 3 arrives
Get started with the new season featuring a selection of new rewards (including the latest ’36E’) and a variety of new tasks to complete.
Update 1.6.0 is free and available now
Along with these new features, the team has also carried out a variety of bug fixes and performance optimization improvements.
The latest version is available for Apple iOS and Android players right now, but you may need to update the game in your app store to see the new changes.
