Following the initial launch that KT Racing would rather forget, they’re keen to win back the fans.
Nearly a year later, Season 4 aims to improve the ‘grindy’ progression, reintroduce the beloved casino system, add fresh rides, and eliminate the confusing ranked reward structure.
The Casino Makes A Comeback
Last seen in Test Drive Unlimited 2 with the ‘Casino Online’ DLC, the casino feature in TDUSC offers players the chance to win vehicles and Casino Chips via slot machine winnings.

The main prize requires players to hit the jackpot, with the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series as the reward. The track-focused supercar features a 720-horsepower twin-turbo V8 engine and reaches a top speed of 202 mph, representing the most powerful variant in the AMG GT lineup.
A secondary jackpot offers 77,777 Casino Chips, which can be converted to Solar Coins in future updates.

Within the casino is a clothing store and a car parts store, introducing the first of the newly added customization features, which includes a selection of aftermarket wheels. From the teaser, we can see TSW and Speedline.
Solar Pass Distribution Changes & New Cars
Season 4 marks the first time Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown introduces a paid Solar Pass tier (of course!) alongside the “original” free version. The new two-tier system allows players to either grind through the free progression or pay upfront for instant access.
The Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe VR Widebody Kit unlocks at level one for premium Solar Pass subscribers.
Alongside the newly added wheels, this introduces the first bodykit upgrade in Solar Crown, allowing you to transform the standard 911 Carrera with a RWB-style widebody kit – perfect for standing out with a unique drift car. The team also stated that further customization is set to follow over the next seasons.

DeLorean Alpha5 gets its first appearance in a racing game, available at level 15 in the premium tier. The electric concept vehicle, developed by Italdesign, delivers 0-60 mph acceleration in 2.99 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph.

Lastly, the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato unlocks at level 50 for all players, including free-tier users. This off-road variant of the Huracán features a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine producing 610 horsepower. It also features off-road (raised) suspension, all-terrain tires, and rally-focused exterior mods.
More Vehicles Now Available At The Dealership
Three vehicles become available for direct purchase through the in-game dealerships:

Aston Martin’s DB11 Volante makes its Solar Crown debut as a new addition to the dealership. This convertible grand tourer produces 503 horsepower from its twin-turbo V8.

Bugatti’s Chiron Super Sport 300+ can now be purchased at the dealerships, having previously only been available as a Season 2 ranked reward. The hypercar features a quad-turbocharged W16 engine designed to exceed 300 mph, making it one of the fastest production vehicles ever manufactured.

Another addition is the Aston Martin Valour, which was previously only available through Season 3 ranked rewards. This limited-production model pays homage to Aston Martin’s racing heritage, and TDUSC is the only open-world racing game where you’re able to get behind the wheel.
System Changes
Alongside the addition of Casino, new rides, and customization options, KT Racing has also eliminated ranked reward vehicles, starting with Season 4.
The previous system required players to achieve Solar Court rank or higher to receive their reward car after three months, with other players waiting six months for dealership availability. This change aims to reduce grinding requirements while improving vehicle accessibility across all player levels.
The update also includes performance improvements for PlayStation 5 users, addressing stuttering issues that have affected gameplay.
Season 4 launches in the second half of July 2025, with Season 5 expected to bring major graphics enhancements to the game.
