Yep, Another Mustang Crash, But This Might Be The Most Bizarre One Yet
We know what you’re thinking – “another day, another Mustang crash”, but it’s not often they manage to leave us genuinely speechless anymore.

This clip is just 11 seconds long, yet that’s all it takes for the ‘Stang to go from being on a clear stretch of open road to being on its roof in a ditch. Actually, scrap that. It only takes five seconds.
While we’ve cracked plenty of jokes over the years about Mustangs and sidewalks, it turns out you’re still far from safe in 2025.
Frustratingly, every scenario is nearly identical. With a crowd (thankfully, most of them with cameras) congregated to watch cars leave a mee/show, they all know they’re in for the highlight of the day when a Pony car rolls up.

We imagine the scenario went something like this: Mustang pulls up, spectator who’s been here before informs the crowd, “Get the phones ready, boys. This one’s gonna go viral.”
Despite thousands of other ‘Mustang leaving meet drift crash’ videos online, it seems there’s (unfortunately) always room for more. It’s almost become a cheat code for getting YouTube views at this point.
The sheer amount of space on the road in this one is what makes it particularly painful. It appears the wheels are even pointing straight at the start.

What’s the first thing you do when you have a lack of sideways experience, too much power under the hood, and cold tires, but you want to please the crowd? FLOOR IT, of course!
Suddenly, there’s about two seconds of V8 noises before it’s transformed into a screech of tires.
Just as it looks like it’s transitioning with the intention of pulling off a sweet backwards entry into the tight corner, you’ll soon realize it’s about to go horribly wrong.

Be grateful you weren’t the innocent spectator who didn’t get the Mustang/sidewalk memo. Thankfully, they’re narrowly avoided as the car comes screeching past, but the show isn’t over just yet.

As the clean ’67 Chevy Camaro owner, who’s probably been waiting for a Mustang for entertainment, mutters “here we go” to himself, the inevitable happens. However, it quickly escalates further than any of us would have thought.

It’s rare to see a Mustang crash end up completely upside down, but they’ve earned the gold star this time around – advertising billboard and all!
As the (unsurprised) crowd rushes to help the driver, we’re hoping that the exploded airbag prevented things from getting any worse.
Stay safe, folks. Remember, if you see a Mustang leaving a car meet or show and you happen to be on the sidewalk, RUN!
Here’s the short clip – it’ll make you want to facepalm:
