GALLERY: In Yo Face! From Formula D Wall, NJ

Drifting may now be organized, controlled on racing circuits across the globe, but it is at heart a grassroots motorsport. One of the most appealing aspects for fans is the access: they can get closer to the cars, the drivers, and the tire smoke. At Formula Drift, Wall, NJ, I was reminded of this fact as the position of the media pit was not but a few meters away from the first inner clip. Letting the drivers get all up in my camera’s grille, I decided to take in the view up close and personally as seen here.
