Right now, it’s available at its lowest price ever in a limited-time Steam deal with a whopping 85% off until September 15 – just $5.99 instead of $39.99. Alternatively, you can grab the Game of the Year Edition (GOTY) for $11.99, down from $79.99.

The amusing arcade racer brings Hot Wheels toys to life for sideways action in the quirkiest and most imaginative locations you can think of.
Kitchens, bedrooms, libraries, and garages aren’t our normal settings for drift sessions. But flying off huge jumps and navigating loop-the-loops aren’t too typical, either. These are what make Hot Wheels Unleashed so enjoyable.
Gameplay is simple yet super enjoyable, with (genuinely) great handling mechanics that make it a perfect game if you’re looking to give your kids their first introduction to drifting. Or for some shameless nostalgia, of course!
You only need to worry about the throttle, brake, and boost buttons. Don’t worry, no clutch-kicking is required to kick it sideways.

Hot Wheels Unleashed offers a career mode, time trials, and a track editor, enabling you to create your own unique and creative content.

One Thing To Note
This is the original game, released in 2021, and should not be confused with Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged. At this price, it’s a tiny fraction of what you’d pay for the sequel.
Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged was released in 2023, but it’ll still set you back $49.99 for the Standard edition, $69.99 for the Deluxe edition, and $89.99 for the Legendary edition.
