F1’s resident joker Lando Norris just dropped a surprise cinematic masterpiece that nobody saw coming..

The Monster Energy collab follows the British McLaren driver as he sports a huge grin as he shreds tires through Tokyo’s neon-soaked streets in his LB-Kaido Works widebody R32 Skyline.

What makes this video even more epic is seeing Norris embrace the JDM culture and Japan’s underground tuning scene (right down to the flowery shifter), and it’s clear he’s truly loving every moment of it.

Living the dream. You can tell Lando loves being behind the wheel of the Liberty Walk creation.

The whole thing feels like a mix of the best of Need for Speed and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, capturing the late-night Wangan highway vibes that define Tokyo’s automotive lifestyle.

Blending Kaido racer and Bosozoku styling, the harsh angles of the widebody are an epic match for the R32 GT-R.

The LB-Kaido Works widebody kit transforms the already iconic Skyline into something that looks like it rolled straight out of an underground meet, blending perfectly against Tokyo’s urban backdrop.

More of Wataru Kato’s creations (S15 Skyline and R34 GT-R) join Norris on the cruise to the car park meet, where they meet up even more incredible Japanese creations.

It’s awesome to see Norris opt for the original Godzilla with Kaido racer/Bosozoku styling. Most enthusiasts typically choose the more modern options, such as the R34 Skyline, which joins the cruise shortly after, along with a Liberty Walk Nissan Silvia S15.

Whoopsie. Once they exit the highway, it’s time for a cheeky skid.

Starting from the city center, they drive through rain-slicked highways, then down to Yokohama’s industrial docks. However, it’s not long before they can’t resist the temptation to get sideways (on a closed street, of course!) before executing some donuts at the crazy car meet, featuring plenty of other wild creations.

Don’t try this at home! Lando pulls off some donuts in front of other crazy widebody cars at the meet, including a Porsche and an R35 GTR.

The reflections on the wet asphalt, combined with the city lights bleeding through the darkness and the raw sound of the RB echoing off concrete barriers – what more could you want?!

The only downside of the video is that at just over a minute, it leaves us wanting so much more. We’re hoping this is a teaser for something bigger.

C’mon, Monster, we need a full-length version where he also hits up the touge! The production quality and overall vibes deserve way more than 60 seconds of screen time.
