LIVESTREAM: Formula DRIFT 2025 Round 7 (PRO & PROSPEC) – Utah
Table of Contents
This weekend (Friday 29 to Saturday 30 August 2025) hosts the penultimate round of the 2025 Formula DRIFT PRO series on Saturday, alongside the final round of the 2025 PROSPEC on Friday at Utah Motorsports Campus in Grantsville, Utah.

James Deane leads the PRO standings with a 40-point advantage, holding 220 points over Fredric Aasbo’s 180. Aasbo can’t afford another early exit like last round’s Top 32 loss if he wants to continue challenging for the title ahead of the first-ever final in Long Beach on Oct 17-18.

Matt Field and Adam LZ sit tied in third and fourth, each with 150 points, following Field’s win in Seattle, with LZ reluctantly settling for the third spot on the podium behind James Deane.
Field and Adam LZ still have a chance to catch Deane in the title chase, but with just two rounds left, it’ll require near-perfect weekends.

Several former championship contenders had to fight through Thursday’s Seeding Brackets. The final saw former teammates Simen Olsen and Aurimas (Odi) Bakchis face off, with Olsen eventually coming out on top.
Before the PRO competition starts on Saturday, the PROSPEC championship will be decided tonight (Friday). Nate Chen, Cole Richards, and Dmitriy Brutskiy all enter the final tied on 100 points, promising an epic season finale.
