Everybody probably knows or have heard of the phenomenom called Gatebil. Well, there is one event that Gatebil holds every year that differs from the usual all-weekend-tarmac-mayhem and that is Gatebil On Ice. It's held on a frozen lake in Sigdal, where you run rally-spec studded tyres to give you maximum traction for some fun on the ice. -
Winter Blues
"What is your favourite season?" Classic question for first dates. A quick google search tells me that thirty-one percent of the population would tell you the best answer: Summer. Spring and Fall are also acceptable answers, some people just can't take the heat! But can you believe there are folks out there who say: "Oh! I just absolutely LOVE winter!"? -

I found myself at the train station (that's how I roll, no license yet) one nippy Sunday afternoon, trying to find the right train out of the city. The purpose of this ordeal, was to head out to two brothers building up their drift cars ready for this upcoming season. -
VIDEO: Drift Posse 101
Even now, every year the pro drifting season ends, the big scary race cars go back in to their little garages; and our country (for the most part) gets blanketed with wonderful white stuff called snow. Every year, just like the year before, the local drift crew dusts off their trusty old 'winter beater' drift cars and waits patiently for the right conditions to get out and practice. -
VIDEO: One Last Hoorah
It was a sad, sad day with mixed emotions. On one side, I was a bit down by the thought of never going to see cars being driven on maybe my most favourite track here in Norway... Lots of good memories there. On the other side, I was excited. The new Track, would be nearly 3 times as long as the old one with some great sections of corners for drifting. -
SNAPSHOT: Electric Shenanigans
A few days ago I got my "new" Canon 7D. Around the same time I was chatting to a buddy of mine, when quickly the conversation turned to going out and doing something. Sideways. To my surprise, this is what he came sliding into my drive with; an electric car! Baffled at the sight of the less than 3 meter long 'vehicle', I got in and off we went. -
GRASSROOTS: FCD:MP Mallory Park Drift Blizzard
The Mallory Park FCD:MP day run on the 16th of December was likely to be one of the last drift events in the UK before we see out 2010, over indulge on food and drink and think forward to what the world drifting has in store for us all in 2011. What better way to spend a relaxing day away from the office than to stand outside in driving rain and snow for 6 hours with a camera.
