Grassroots
Grassroots is where the real magic happens in the drift scene, taking the sport back to where it all began. That means no big budgets, (hopefully) no egos, just some wild builds and pure passion and love for the sport.

This section takes you behind the scenes at a variety of local drift events, capturing everything from the first-timers nervously lining up for their debut runs to the more seasoned drivers who live for the weekend door-to-door tandems with the homies.
Grassroots is all about the community vibe, late-night fixes in the pits, and the excitement of pushing your car and skills to new limits (backies and 360 entries, anyone?).
Expect to see a wild variety of unsponsored cars, DIY bodge-jobs, and the laughs and friendships that make grassroots events feel more like a long-lost family gathering than an intense competition.
Newcomers are always welcome at these events, and there’s always someone available to lend a hand, share a tool, or offer advice (even if it’s just a simple “send it!”).
Every grassroots drift day is an opportunity to learn something new, share stories, and perhaps even pick up a few battle scars — hopefully just for your car!
Whether you’re looking for fun and chaos with your crew or you’ve got your sights set on becoming the next James Deane, grassroots drifting offers something for everyone, along with a whole lotta tire smoke! What more could you want?
